ORIGIN & MATERIAL
This cushion is made from antique Hungarian hand-woven threshing mat (nappe de “battage”). Hemp was part of the daily life of Hungarians. All household and agricultural linen were made of hemp. I work on the reverse side in order to sublimate its natural handmade seams and its beautiful hand-stitched patches. Small irregularities and imperfections that this cushion might have, are the result of its manual manufacturing process and part of its charm and unicity. Traces of usage are part of the natural characteristic of all our vintage textile and its history.
INTERIOR
All the interiors are made of 100% feather.
Each piece is removable with zip closure.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Each piece being old, be soft and gentle with cleaning, do not wash the fabric if you don’t need to. Can be washed at cold temperatures, delicate program (maximum of 30 degrees), but preferably by hand, with an organic and natural detergent. No dryer.
