ORIGIN & MATERIAL
This Haori, light kimono jacket is made from a vintage Hungarian hemp-linen — once woven into the daily lives of Hungarian farmers.

Its silhouette is drawn from Japanese tradition: the Haori, a short coat worn over the kimono, open at the front and left unfastened, made to be slipped on and off with ease. Once a layer of quiet protection and understated distinction, it is reimagined here in vintage hemp for effortless, everyday layering.

The subtle irregularities this piece may carry are the mark of its handmade construction — part of its character, not a flaw. Traces of past use are woven into the nature of all our vintage textiles.

Available in one size, designed to fit all.

Three colors are available: natural, chestnut, and cacao. Choose the one that speaks to you.

Handmade with love in France, in collaboration with local artisans. Please handle it with the same care it was made with. Each Haori arrives with its own matching hemp sachet, to protect it and accompany it on your travels.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
As each piece carries the weight of age, wash only when truly necessary. If needed, wash cold on a delicate cycle (30°C maximum), though hand-washing with a natural, organic detergent is preferred. Do not tumble dry.

Every creation is one of a kind — entirely handmade from vintage hemp sourced across Europe, particularly France and Eastern Europe. The fabrics we work with are, on average, 50 to 120 years old.

Our signature lies in transforming imperfection into beauty: a flaw, a seam, a weaving irregularity, a patch — each becomes part of the story.

Guided by respect for the environment and a quiet resistance to excess, we work within a sustainable, upcycling practice — giving new life to fabrics of exceptional quality, woven by hand in age-old tradition.
