ORIGIN & MATERIAL
This cushion is made from an old french gran sac “sac de meunier” dyed in honey color. The small irregularities and imperfections that this cushion may have are the result of its manual manufacturing process and part of its charm. I decided to work on the reverse side in order to sublimate its natural handmade seams, and the patches hand stitched by its owner over the time. This piece is very unique, and has been restored to keep its natural conditions. The cover is purposely not removable.
All the interiors are made of 100% feather.
Each piece being old, be soft and gentle with cleaning, do not wash the fabric if you don’t need to. Can be washed at cold temperatures, delicate program (maximum of 30 degrees), but preferably by hand, with an organic and natural detergent. No dryer.

All my creations are unique, entirely handmade, with vintage hemp found in Europe and more particularly in France and in the eastern Europe countries.
All the hemp pieces sourced are on average between 50 and 120 years old.
Once the hemp piece is cleaned and prepared, I decide either to keep it natural or to dye it in organic and natural, earthy colors.
My signature: to sublimate a defect in the material, a seam, a weaving defect, a patch…
Sensitive to the protection of our environment, and the questioning of overabundance and superfluity, I work in a sustainable and upcylcing approach.
My goal is to give a second life to high quality fabrics, hand woven in an ancestral way, to pay tribute to the work of man.
